My Journey Through Art
Contentment has always been at the heart of my journey. My name, Tripthi, means contentment, and it beautifully reflects what painting brings to my life…a deep sense of peace, joy, and connection.
Art has always been a part of who I am. My journey began in rural India, where I taught art to children and discovered how creativity can spark happiness and bring people together. Years later, while raising my daughter, I found that same joy in hosting art parties for her and her friends…simple, colourful moments that reminded me of the magic of making art together.
After twenty-five years in Dublin, I continue to draw inspiration from its landscapes, people, and flowers. Living by the sea has been a true gift, allowing me to capture the changing light, colours, and moods that inspire much of my artwork and the designs featured in TrodCards.
Working mainly with watercolours and oils, I try to capture fleeting moments of light, colour, and emotion …pieces that bring warmth, reflection, and a quiet sense of joy to others.
After some time away from painting, the stillness of the pandemic brought me back to my brushes and back to myself. What began as a small creative outlet soon became a deep passion and an essential part of who I am. Through TrodCards, I hope to share that sense of contentment and joy with others.
